Make sure that your website has clear contact details, an easy-to-navigate layout, and up-to-date information about what kind of work you do.
Update your social media profiles. If you have a website, then it’s likely that you have a Facebook page and/or an Instagram account. These are great places for customers to learn more about what you do, and they can also be used to promote your work on other platforms such as Twitter or LinkedIn. Make sure that all of your social media accounts are up-to-date with recent projects so potential customers can see what kind of work you’ve done in the past.
Create a social media strategy. Social media is a great way to connect with customers, but it can also be time-consuming. If you don’t have the time or resources to manage your accounts, then hire someone who does! This will help you stay on top of what’s happening in the industry and how people are responding to it.
- Add testimonials to your site. You don’t need to ask customers for them-people will be happy to write them for you if they like their experience with you, so be sure to keep track of these comments as they come in and put them on your site once the project is finished.

If there aren’t any groups near you that sound like they’d be useful, why not start one? Just make sure it’s clear who should join (for example local tradespeople only) so that no one gets confused or offended when they see an ad for something completely unrelated being shared on the page!

If you want more work, get a relationship with them. They are the ones who need to know you and trust your work.
